So it's been about 2 weeks without an update... sorry I've been really really lazy. oh well. It's Olympic season. fun stuff. America is doing pretty good I guess... go USA... I'm tired and lazy so that's about it for tonight. In other news, i hung out with my best friend from highschool days today... apparently we're going to Montreal this weekend for good times. Should be a blast. Other than that, nothing really is new so I'm off for now. Later!

I'm tired and I didn't write anything up yesterday so here's a few short lines. About to watch burn notice too. Also been spending the night reading up on D20 modern rules (a Dungeons and Dragons alternate rule system) that I really really like. I played it a bit but because the kid running the campaign got lazy and stopped running the particular campaign, I was kinda upset about that but I couldn't change what he decided to do. Oh well, at least I got plans to run a campaign and have fun with it. I wish I could get more people to play besides my girlfriend but that doesn't work I guess. Oh well, I'll deal with it and such. Anyways, sorry for the lack of info, I'll catch you guys later.

Scary times
Ok, what with conservatives shooting liberals, the huge deficit the next president will inherit and the current disasters that are occurring (both politically and economically) I feel that this is the perfect time to say that I can not stand Republicans. Honestly, after hearing about how a conservative goes into a church to shoot liberals there I have to ask, can we really trust these people with our government any more?
Also, what about the deficit? In the local newspaper today, there was a little graph showing the deficit/surplus of the United States over the last 16 years. Amazingly (not really) the only time the United States has been decreasing the deficit (or building a surplus) was when a LIBERAL WAS IN OFFICE. Shouldn't that be proof enough that the LIBERALS are better with money than the "penny-pinching" republicans? The republicans decrease public works AND spend more money than anyone so how is it possible to even consider electing a man like McCain?
Honestly, what the HELL are you people who will vote that way thinking? Do you honestly HATE America that much?

Continued from Yesterday
Ok so facebook. While made for students apparently it's now being adapted to draw in the older generations with the goal of plugging them in. Now I don't know how to feel about this because I'm still a young person but at the same time I see how great a networking tool this can be. To be able to track down old friends and such it makes sense to open it up. Plus, it's run by a company so of course there has to be some degree of profitability with this change. So while I see how it's a good thing, I know at the same time that it's a signal of change. Well, seeing as how I don't know what to say on the matter, I'm opening it to you. So everyone who reads this: tell me what you think!
In other news, in the local newspaper today somebody referenced the trade of Israeli bodies for Lebanese soldiers and how we have to appreciate the whole "judeo christian interests" in the middle east. Well, I have nothing against religion (ok not entirely true but a discussion for another time), but I do have a problem with our blind support of Israel. In this case, yes we should support Israel because of the unfair trade that was made, but it is not because of the relgious beliefs of the people. It is a bad policy to base your political actions on the beliefs of certain citizens and their faith. Note: I am not against Israel, I am however against the blind support that the government of the United States has put in them in so many political areas. I don't want to end support for allies but at some point Israel has to fend for themselves without the threat of American Power subduing their enemies. Also, What exactly is Israel giving in return for such support? I don't know, once again, I call upon you (the readers) to enlighten me! So yes, This is the time for you to write responses and let me know!

Another day, another dollar. Went down to visit the girlfriend this weekend, I can talk about that tomorrow, I'm exhausted though, I haven't been getting the best rest recently. So I'm going to try hitting the sack rather soon to hopefully get a good night's rest.
Sorry about the lack of a post but yeah, on the note of talking about articles in the news that interest me, have a look at this:
http://www.nytimes.com/idg/IDG_852573C4006938800025748D0064C292.html?ref=technology
So yeah, it's not much but it's something i'll talk about tomorrow (if i remember). apparently facebook's looking at attracting the older part of the population to partake in the joys of facebook. I don't know how i feel about this... it seems like facebook should be for the youth, after all it's called facebook for a reason! So yep, i'll talk about it tomorrow. Night!

Tomatoes are safe
Yep, so apparently it's safe to eat tomatoes again according to the FDA. Well in my house we never stopped. Nobody got sick. Amazing isn't it? Well not really... see less than 200 people got sick (if I recall correctly, regardless it was a low number) and how many millions of people eat tomatoes every day in the United States. I personally believe that that whole tomato fear was just hype because of those figures. It was really ridiculous to see all of that fear started because of the something so small. Ugh. I can't believe all of that fear was started because a few people got sick. A very easy way to prevent getting sick from your food is to just WASH IT. if it's greasy, use SOAP. I hope people can figure that out. anyways, tomatoes are safe, but wash your food people!

A look into my life today: Basically I'm torn. I like my ex... I like my current girl... I don't know what the heck to do. The ex and I have started talking and hopefully things won't blow up between us this time (they usually do) and I also like my current girl... Basically I have no idea how to explain it) partially because I don't know how to figure it out for myself. I feel really guilty about how I feel (or don't feel) but I did talk to my girl about it... which leads to confusion. Idk, I don't know how to feel or what to say even on here. I guess I'll get off, sorry for the swing in feelings today but tomorrow I should be back on track. So yep, tomorrow come back for more commentary on world/US news!

Oil Prices Falling?
Ok, sorry for not posting yesterday, kinda threw myself off with the post on Sunday. Not much has been happening here so back onto the news thing. Apparently oil prices dropped significantly today. Now while I think that's a great thing I know that both 1: it won't change the oil prices we pay at the pump tomorrow (or at any point) and 2: they are going to go back up. I am curious as to why there is a price decrease at a time like this. Yes the banks in America are failing and yes the economy is falling to pieces but when you look at it, all that would push for the prices to skyrocket as companies would try to get as much profit as possible. After all, if the economy is going to fail, wouldn't companies be more interested in making money now before people can't afford to spend money?
I honestly don't understand how those companies think. But yep, if the prices went down I guess it's a good thing. True it was because of a lack of consumer confidence but hey, they went down and with prices as high as they are, I guess that is better than nothing.
So yep, in other news (my personal news) I'm going to be visiting my girlfriend this weekend! Not sure how much I want to drive down and visit her but I do want to see her. Should be a blast and all that exciting stuff. Other than that, nothing to really report, work is work and not much I can do to fix that. Anyways, later all!

Well, this weekend in the next town over Sailfest occurred. it's a pretty major event where all of downtown is closed to traffic and vendors and such come in, do a search for it and you'll see what it's like. Anyways every election year the major contenders usually have a setup to raise local support and all that jazz. This year I saw Nader had a tent (oh joy). Now don't get me wrong, I don't hate the Green Party, in fact I can understand why people want a more liberal person in office than a democratic contender (for example, Kerry or Gore). But what the Green party doesn't realize is that they are splitting the votes the democratic candidate would get if there was no Green Party (or other liberal party) running. THIS IS GIVING THE ELECTION AWAY. Heck, in 2000 we lost because 3.9% of the population voted for Nader, in 2004 that was not a factor. But this year, when the democratic contender is a black man, threats of racism are prevalent. Nader I call on you to pull out of this election. I understand and respect that you want a liberal president but by being in the election and splitting the left even if it is in a limited amount, YOU MAKE AN EASIER ELECTION FOR McCAIN. After the last EIGHT years, can we really stand to have another conservative in office?
A vote for Nader is nothing more than a vote directed at ruining the main Liberal Candidate. I don't like the two party system, but it's not going to change and it's time people accept that.

Well, another day has come and gone and I'm just getting used to using this laptop. I do like it because now I can chill out while watching TV and chat with people (or something like that). Basically it just lets me hang out on the the couch with a computer. still not bad. Anyways, today was a pretty unexciting day. Nothing's really happened worth noting all day. It's really been a boring day. Work was uneventful and all that jazz. After work was uneventful (though we finally got rid of the first section of the lawn mower scrap we have). Other than that, nothing really happened. Sorry, maybe tomorrow will be more worth nothing. I really don't know though.

Ok, Decent weekend! Lots of fun stuff happened like getting a new laptop (which I'm currently using) and also like winning a second game of Warhammer 40,000. That was pretty awesome but I think my opponent screwed up with rules and did not exactly play as well as he could have. I did learn he's not great at the rules to begin with anyways so it's entirely possible I can help him out (if he'd accept my advice seeing as how I'm new to the game...). Hopefully he'd accept advice and stuff.
So yep that's what I did on Saturday and then Sunday I started cleaning up around my house so that it'll be clean when my girlfriend comes around on Thursday night. I can't wait should be a great time. Other than that nothing has been happening recently. I could go on and talk about stuff going on in my life but really it's not as interesting as I made it sound like. Oh well sorry. Basically I don't feel like talking tonight. Got other things I have to waste time working on and all that jazz. Probably will start cleaning up around the house a bit more so it's even better around here. So yep, later all!

Wow... my updating has not been at all on a regular time period huh? Oh well. Yesterday was a pretty fun day after work got out. I basically ran down to the local comic book store and played my first game of Warhammer 40,000. I was surprised to note that the game itself isn't altogether fun but rather its the modelling and the hanging out with people that make the hobby worth it. Not much to say except that I almost got rocked by an army and would've been if not for the team support I had. basically it was 4 guys vs. 4 guys and we just played for 3 hours straight. lotta fun to do :). My team won but my forces were all but lost at the end. I was going to die except for one tank if the game continued for much longer. Oh well. still lotta fun to play.
And today not much happened. around 6 I remembered I left some of my hobby stuff down at the comic book shop so I tore down there to retrieve what I could if anything. Fortunately the people who play are decent human beings so they didn't walk off with anything I had. NICE! got it all back and that was a relief (I left about 40 bucks worth of stuff. nothing was missing I think). and thats pretty much it for today. I close tomorrow at work by myself so I don't have to work too hard for a good portion of the day :-D. that'll be nice and other than that I don't know what's happening this weekend. if my brother would answer his phone I might have an idea about what's going on. Oh well, later all!

Another long boring day at Work where I didn't really accomplish much and as such, nothing to truly report. Talked to the girlfriend a bit and also talked to another girl i know and all that jazz... nothing really exciting about today so sorry it's been such a crumby week with nothing going on, maybe next week will be better.

Another rather dull day. I did complete 5 more guys for my Warhammer 40,000 army but jeez I keep asking myself why I chose the army with the most models to start with (Imperial Guard... I can field in a normal battle 300 models of soldiers at LEAST... that's a rough estimate you see). Oh well I got only 5 more to do and 10 arms (for models mostly painted except those arms) and an APC and I'm ready to play. I guess I could have it done by Friday or Saturday but I'm not gonna rush myself just to do it by the weekend.
Other than that today wasn't too interesting basically just relaxed after work which was pretty good because the work is getting more tedious as I avidly have to search for work to do now... Not the most pleasant experience in the world but there have been worse situations for people I know that much. Anyways I'm off to go grab a snack and then bed so, sorry for the short post but goodnight!

So... Another day has passed and this one is slightly more interesting than yesterday based on the fact that I left work an hour early. Yep, I wasn't feeling so well today so I opted to leave work an hour early to go home and lay down on the couch. I dunno what happened but I was just exhausted (maybe because my ex's mom called me at ~12:30 and again at 3:45). Seriously what is up with that... we've been broken up for a year and I've moved on and so has she. It did take me a long time but I finally have moved on and life is pretty good now so why is she calling me at times like that. It's a pain in the ass but I guess thats why they say to stay away from the crazy girls. it's probably genetic and boy that whole family is messed up. At least I got out of it when I did and now I see that for the blessing that it truly is. Anyways that's it for today so I'm off for now. Hopefully I'll get a good night's rest tonight and won't be exhausted like yesterday. Anyways, g'night!

Dull day, not a whole lot to report...
Work was boring at best but it wasn't a slow day at least. I finished a few projects that needed to get done so that's always a plus but ultimately it just means that I will have less options of things to work on as the summer progresses. I really don't want to get stuck with dull jobs for 6+ hours a day but that's ultimately how it's going to turn out I think. Also as the summer progresses I'm running out of time on other projects. Unfortunately I'm gonna be swamped later this summer as my superiors aren't getting things to me to be worked on fast enough (delays for them means when I get the items I have a much decreased amount of time to spend on them... not fun).
Oh well, other than that it's been a relaxing day. I'm going to head to bed soon and hopefully tomorrow will be a semi-successful day in terms of the projects I want to finish up around the house (my warhammer stuff).
Anyways if anyone is reading this I'd like to get to know some people who also play (it'd be even better if they were in my region... I kinda don't want to just go into the shop in town and start talking about it with strangers... that seems weird). Anyways, I'm off so Night!

Another dull day at work, got some more stuff done that I suppose is a good thing but I got more things added to my workload. now that normally would be considered a bad thing but when you are already running out of things to work on it's actually a blessing to be given extra tasks and everything so I'm rather happy.
Didn't do much this afternoon, watched some TV and returned used oil to Autozone. It's good to get rid of that stuff so I think it's been a successful day for now. Anyways thats about it for today (dull Friday I know) so catch you on Monday!

Another boring day at work... I'm running out of things to do there actually which is unpleasant as I will not have any variation in regards to what I actually do in a few days. Thats never a good thing. Other than that nothing is really new for today. I did do a brief play test of D&D 4.0 (over the internet) and it seems ok... problem was I was doing it with a first time DM which could've been a mistake. I like the girl a lot (my girlfriend) but unfortunately she's not very good at it. But like everything else in life, practice makes perfect so while I'm gonna start a campaign we're gonna play hers more and hopefully she'll learn a bit. Thats the goal at least.
Other than that, it's been a dull day. Didn't do a whole lot so not much to report on. Hopefully DnD tomorrow will be better (we'll see how that goes, I'll let you know)

The past few days have been crazy....
Sorry about not updating recently I really have no clue what's been going on with me. I mean, I intended to do this whole thing monday-friday every day and for the past few weeks I just haven't had it in me. Oh well here I am now and hopefully this is the start to getting back into the swing of things.
Well, last week I tried to get money back that was owed to me but the jerk (I would swear but this is a PG blog) , my sophomore (this previous year) roommate who owes it to me not only says he owes me nothing but also convinced a bunch of people that the reverse is true. Once again, I hate people. While there are a bunch of good people out there (I'm sure there have to be some), there are far more people who are scumbags. Oh well. I really don't care. If he wants to be so sad and pathetic as a person let him do that. I have other things to worry about.
This past weekend I went and visited my girlfriend at her home and had a great time. I think the parents are cool with me and I hope that everything is working out well. Unfortunately she's busy until my birthday weekend so I'll see her in about 3 week. it stinks but what can you do? Just gotta wait and take it easy I guess.
Anyways while visiting her we went all over her local area but because of the heatwave we tried to stay in Air Conditioned places. Meaning we stayed at her house and went to the mall and out to dinner a few times. Not too bad of course because I like that kinda stuff but I really don't care. I went to see her and thats it. It was really nice and I'm trying to figure out other plans to meet up. One thing that we did which is kinda strange is cleaned her pool. It was relaxing for me so I had no problems doing it but I hope that she didn't mind... She says she didn't but I think secretly she did. So SORRY! if you're reading this little blog somehow.
Got back Sunday night after a terrible drive (tons of traffic) and then Monday and Tuesday and today I had work. Pretty dull for the past few days but it's been sweltering so staying in and not moving much was fine with me. I don't particularly enjoy my job but every day when I get home at least I made a little money. Woohoo! My paycheck gets sent to my bank tomorrow! I get money!
So I'm off and I'll try to write tomorrow, (no idea how that'll go) so until next time: Later!

So I didn't keep my promise from yesterday, sorry about that. I did say it's been crazy recently though so that has to count for something or other. Anyways, works been ok for the past few days and I'm getting used to it again. Thats good at least.
Anyways this weekend my brother came down to town because it was his girlfriends birthday so I got to see him a little Friday Saturday and most of the day Sunday. It's always nice to be able to catch up with him and just relax for a bit. All that being said it was a decent weekend. Sunday was a blast because of all the time we spent together. We worked on our (mainly his) cars and changed all the fluids... it was fun and since I enjoy cars, working on a BMW was pretty sweet. I can't wait until I get one! (one of these days). So that was the weekend.
Monday and Tuesday work was just like normal but yesterday I went out to get a blazer and Khakis for my dinner date with my girlfriends parents this weekend in Jersey. I'm kinda nervous but that can be dealt with. I think the outfit looks awesome so everything should work out as well as I hope it does, at least I hope so (:D) Today was a boring day but it was a day closer to the weekend so that's good for me because I can't really wait to see the girl and everything. So other than that, the week's been dull (but that's a packed schedule so it's fine if it is a bit dull otherwise). So I'm off now, might see if the parents want to watch a movie or not. So Night!

Well I started my job yesterday and what can I say... it's a job, can't really expect much on that basis and as a result I am basically just trying to get through the days as smoothly as possible. I don't really enjoy it but if it was fun it probably wouldn't be called work, right? With that being said I hate my job :(. Worse things have happened though.
Saw Indiana Jones today and that was a fun film to watch. Maybe it wasn't a great movie but it was a fun movie to see (once, probably won't see it again for at least a few years) and once is good enough for me. So I recommend it if you haven't seen it and don't quite expect it to live up to the Indiana Jones' of the past. Oh well. Other than that I am rather knackered and gonna be heading to bed soon so I can be up bright and early for work. Ugh. Anyways I'm off, night!

Another day in my life... Today was much less exciting and ultimately didn't do a whole hell of a lot. Watched some TV and talked to people online but the only interesting part of today was taking the railings off my porch. Unfortunately some of them have rotted out because of how the water is able to pool on them and as a result, my father and I plan to replace the rotten wood with composite wood (the fancy new wood that's got plastics in it or something). With this, the same problem shouldn't reoccur and thus we solve the rotting. So we took the railings off today but other than that nothing special happened today. Sorry, but I'm tired and getting off, later!

So today was a bright and beautiful day. Woke up around 11:30 and had a headache... it kinda stunk but what can you do. Had an appointment at 2:00 to give blood and did that. It's really amazing. I hate needles but feel that I have to donate because it's the right thing to do. Well... it could be worse i suppose. Also it's bad that i am such a slow bleeder. It took almost 20 minutes to fill the bag I had and thats apparently a long time. Since then I basically hung out all day and relaxed... Don't want to strain myself and all that jazz so I tried not to. Painted some of my Warhammer 40,000 stuff (1/2 bodies of 5 miniatures, not too bad I suppose) and watched a bit of television. Talked to the girl and might have plans to see her the weekend after this one. I hope things work out cause I miss her (strange considering we've been away for about a week...). Oh well. Other than that another pretty boring day. I might go see my brother this weekend, that'd be fun as I haven't seen him in a few months. He's apparently got a party planned for Sunday so I have to try and get up there for that. Otherwise nothing else is really new. So I'm off for now. Later all!

Didn't do much yesterday or today (I'm not even sure if I posted yesterday...) But did wake up early today. There was a rally that was Anti-war happening in my town so my family and I went down to protest and had a good time. Another group that was pro-war was there and we discovered that by staying silent, those ignorant buffoons did not know how to react. Same protest took place last year and it was definitely reassuring that the numbers of their supporters was a fraction of it's size last year. I don't remember what our size was but we outnumbered them by a lot (just like last year as well). It was a lot of fun. Gotta say though, the political Right honestly doesn't have any ground beneath them in terms of facts. They spewed statistics and all sorts of data at us but ultimately their choice in what to say and how to say it left out the critical facts that prove them to ultimately be wrong. I honestly hope that McCain does not win the election. That would be a disaster not only for this country but for the entire world even more than it is now.
After that didn't do a whole lot, just relaxed all day and got some work done around the house. It's a shame that I have to wait for the weekend to start some of the major projects around the house but I suppose that's about as good as I can do. Donating blood tomorrow which means the work will have to be stopped to some extent which is a good thing I guess. I really hate giving blood but I know it is my responsibility as a healthy person to do so... I can only hope that others do the same if I need blood down the road. Anyways that's it for today.
Catch you later.

And back again...
Hey, I'm back after the weekend. It was a decent weekend, made a little money around the house, did a little work and basically enjoyed being home for the first weekend of the summer. It was pretty nice.
Started tearing up the old garden so that we can level it out with the surrounding area and hopefully get a lawn mower through there... that'll take a while and also set up a few more plans for the coming days of things to do. Also painted a bit of my Warhammer 40,000 stuff. It's nice to get that done even though I know I still have (literally) DAYS of painting left to do. I want to get enough done so that I can start playing next weekend... it should be nice to have that done enough for small games and actually learn about playing.
Other than that, not much is new. I start my job next Tuesday and then I will be raking in the big money that I save for travel next semester :-D. So yep, pretty dull day so far, I hope to have more excitement tomorrow. later!

So I'm finally home. It's been a long week of doing stuff and it really was a lot of stuff that I needed to do. Spent Monday studying for the exam I had on Tuesday at 8:30 AM. That really wasn't fun because of how early I was forced to wake up. Even better, my roommate was up all night playing video games and I had to get him to not use his headset at about 1:30 just so I could fall asleep. At least I got to bed and had some rest. Ultimately though that exam could have gone better. I think I did pretty good on the exams though so we shall see when the grades come in a few days.
After that exam I went to my aunt and uncle's house for the night and my mom and I drove home all day today which could have been a better day but all in all it wasn't terrible. Also went out to dinner tonight. A bunch of restaurants in my town did this thing where you can walk around downtown sampling all the foods they have. It was pretty fun. Food was great too. Other than that, it sorta was a generic day... Ok, so that really isn't a generic day at all but it sorta sounds good to say that about the day I guess.
I almost crashed today, that was not fun. Terrible traffic jam i didn't notice until the last minute so that was pretty nerve wracking. I had another few hours to drive after that so it was miserable to an extent. I'm off though, Later!

Well I'm getting ready for my last exam, starts tomorrow at 8:30 AM... i honestly am not sure how I'm gonna wake up in time and don't expect to get a full night of rest honestly. It's not fun but I really have no choice. Best part is I have no clue how to study for this one as he only gave us questions so I guess it's best just to know how to answer these questions and then I'll be fine.
Other than the exams, not a whole lot has been going on... It's really about it, been cramming as much into my head as possible and writing the papers that I needed to get done and all that jazz. Really not fun but I guess the semester's allowed for a stressful exam period. Ok so that may be a lie (it was a tough semester) but meh I'll let them get away with it for now as I had a good time this semester.
Anyways, for the past few days I had to do two papers and study two exams with the last one finishing tomorrow at noon. It should be fine but still I worry. The other exam I took wasn't too bad as i was actually prepared for it. Was stressing until I took it but showed up and think I did just fine with it. I am pretty pleased with that so I'm doing alright for now. Papers I think went fine, just wanna feel good about this last one which I won't be able to do until after its finished. But life could definitely be worse... I'd gladly take this uncertainty rather than other things that could be bad so I'm pretty pleased.
Anyways, I'm off. Later.

I love spending time outside the dorm that must be definitely true based on how little time I spend in here these days. I woke at 1 and went to a performance of a few friends for Shakespeare in the Sunken Gardens and then after that went to Anime Club for a few hours to see some great stuff. Following that went off to a review session for an exam in classics and then hung out with the female friend for a few hours. Talked about some deep stuff and such with her and her roommate. College is great for that it really is. Everything is open for discussion and everything is discussed with class and such. But girls coming up so I gotta finish this up. Maybe I'll add more detail later :-P
Ugh what a day. Long doesn't really begin to cover it with all that I did. Woke up early so that I could video-conference with the professor who's gonna lead my study abroad program (he teaches at a partnership school and not here) so that was pretty fun but had all that technical problems getting that started but no matter. Finished up by noon then ate a quick lunch and then another meeting for how to make my resume which sucks but I have to do it for study abroad tomorrow. It stinks cause I have so much work to do and I just want to relax for the last few days on campus... Oh well worse things have happened and I guess tomorrow I will get started on my papers and all that jazz.
Went shopping for a good period of time this afternoon just for stuff I want (nerdy hobbies) and got something that I guess I sorta wanted. I really wanted something else but I decided to not buy it at the time (a mistake probably) but I can buy that online after I get money. Unfortunately, I am really bad at buying stuff for myself as I hate spending my money on myself. I usually have no problem spending money for others but can't seem to stand doing it for me. Oh well I will have to get over that at some point, like after I graduate from college.
After shopping just hung out with a couple kids for the evening and had a good time. Problem is girls tend to cry when they experience PMS so I was there for someone through that for at least an hour tonight. Worse things have happened though I guess.

I'm done with classes...
Thats pretty awesome I guess, Today's classes were kinda miserable though. First one, the professor wouldn't shut up and was trying to cram everything he could into the last day and then French we had an exam. I think I did OK. Not great or anything but enough to get by. So things could be worse thats for sure. But yeah, on to the finals now and all that great stuff. I got a lot to do actually, I have a video conference at 11 AM and then a meeting at 1 for building my resume. Apparently they now changed it so that they need a resume for part of my study abroad which is sort of annoying. So I have to write one up and set it up for submission essentially tomorrow. Other than that I'm free until the weekend and my first exam at 7 on Sunday.
So yep, the year is wrapping up nicely and getting all the stuff I need to do done. It's definitely a relief for this to all work out as it seems to be now but I still have my stuff to get through.
Can't Wait to get home! It's been a great year that's a given but I really am looking forward to being home and seeing my family and everything. But I'm off for now, Later!

Pretty standard day, was the last day of classes though for M/W/F ones. Kinda a shame because i was just getting to like the reading we had to do for them. Oh well, I could always continue the studies after classes end but who knows if i really will. Other than that it was pretty dull all day. I got a test tomorrow though that I don't really want to do any work for but I don't exactly have a choice. Oh well. Least after tomorrow I get to relax a bit, but I dunno if I really want that. It means slowing down and I think it would be better if I kept up the pace of doing stuff. I should really do something, just gotta convince myself to do it. Thats it for now though,

Edit: Fixed the glitch... Service Pack 1 did it. Thanks to Microsoft for actually fixing it so quickly!
So I've found a really annoying bug with Windows Media Player. For some reason it continues to play music even after you press the "close" button. Normally it would, you know, close the program but for some reason it keeps running in the background. Even better is the part that I don't know how to uninstall WMP in Vista because it's a windows program. Grr this is annoying. Oh and I had a dream about my ex-girlfriend last night... It was strange and didn't really give me any satisfaction while i slept so I'm just gonna try to ignore it. Anyways, thats it for now.
If anyone knows how to fix WMP in vista, please let me know. Thanks!

Pretty "enh" day today
DIdn't do much until dinner when I found out that we were going to see Iron Man. AWESOME MOVIE! It was actually really well done and a blast to watch so I highly recommend it to anyone who reads this. normally I expect super-hero movies to not be great but I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Just a warning though: If you suffer from epilepsy THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. The girl I went with suffers from epilepsy and she had a seizure from all the flashes and stuff (she's fine though, just ended up with a bad headache after it passed, she's sleeping it off). So yeah. If you are one of us lucky group who don't suffer from that, definitely go see it. Oh and wait through the credits for a nice little bonus of awesomeness.
So yep, after that we watched Hunt for Red October. A classic, definitely ended the public aspect of the day well and then basically just hung out in my room for the past 4 hours. I'm about to go to bed because I am mildly exhausted and have my own headache. So adios!

Just one of those days... Don't really know what it was about it but I just wasn't doing so hot today. With that being said, I should probably hit the sack soon, in fact I'm pretty sure I will. It wasn't a bad day really it just wasn't working out so well for me for one reason or another but thats fine I guess. Found out i lost a ton of stuff that is irreplaceable when my computer died this weekend which really stinks but I guess it is good. Maybe it will motivate me to do something (like back things up :-P) other than that not much is left to be said. So yep, I'm off for now. Later
Well, pretty standard day.
Got all my work done and it seems like things might calm down just a bit in the coming days, a much anticipated break for me :). Also got some of my painting for warhammer done. Yeah, I'm a big nerd but I at least do stuff with people and get out of my room. Saw the female friend as well. She hassles me for it but it's all good natured... now... I hope that she doesn't start actually getting pissed at me over it. But that's a concern for down the road. I really haven't done much. It's really been a day of catch up to get everything in order so I am pretty glad with how things are shaping up. Still got 40 pages of reading to do for tomorrow but I can jump on that right now and get it done pretty fast. So other than the mundane, today was... nothing... It was a pretty mundane day and thats just the kinda day I needed today so everything's good.

Work Work Work
Wow I have been busy recently. I've got a paper due on Wednesday, a major presentation tomorrow and on top of all this my computer decided it wanted to die Sunday at 2:00 AM. It stinks because I had most of my work done and then the hard drive wiped itself and I lost everything. Multiple partitions, Hundreds of Gigs of stuff, gone. It was not fun.
Other than that not much has been happening, just been playing catch up for the work I needed to complete and already had before that disaster but oh well. Still trying to figure out my life which is still confusing. I don't know what I want to do with my life, I ask myself what I want every night but each night the answer remains the same: I don't know. I gotta figure it out eventually but until that point I'm basically on my own. Anyways, off to finish more work that needs to be done.

Updating infrequently is bad
Wow getting back on track is hard. I dunno what it is but I haven't been busy or anything but at the same time i haven't been doing these updates. Oh well. I'm off to class soon and really don't want to go but that's fine. I really should get back to work on my miniatures because I haven't gotten much work done on them at all. Kinda stinks but I'm not sure how i feel about the paint scheme I chose for them. I mean it looks good but at the same time since it's all greens and browns I'm wondering if it's too blah. But yep, off to class so hopefully I will update later today.

It's been a while
Sorry I haven't written in so long but it's been pretty hectic around here. What with the work I had to do for last week and the beautiful weather outside I haven't been spending much time at my computer. In fact I've only been spending about an hour or two awake in my room for the past few days. It's been fun
Other than that not a whole lot has been going on. I got a female friend who I'm getting close with and all that good stuff. Problem is we're both doing study abroad next semester so we're not sure what we're gonna do. We're basically playing it cool until summer and then we go our separate ways until we get back in December. It stinks but what're you gonna do. Other than that it's been pretty good. She spent the weekend down at NYC and I spent it mostly outside in the beautiful weather up here.
So yep, I did a lot of work and such stuff but other than that not much has been going on in my life. Waiting for my female friend to get back to campus so i can see her again :-D.
Later all, I will try to get back on schedule.

Long tiring day. Went to my two classes and got back two grades (C+ on a composition in french and an 87% on a french test, not too shabby) and other than that didn't do much. Basically worked all afternoon because I am not only behind but I have a ton of work I need to start... oh about 3 weeks ago. So yeah I'm mildly screwed but I've got everything for the administration in order which is really really nice. Just gotta do papers now and get them all finished. It could be worse. I even stayed awake through class today :).
Weather was gorgeous, met up with a friend at the quad and just talked for about an hour. It was really nice to just sit there in the sun in the afternoon. Hopefully it stays nice *knocks on wood*. I should be getting to bed though so I'll catch you all later.
Oh almost forgot, roommate and "friends" ditched me for lunch today... I thought that was pretty sweet in a not so sweet way. I love how they didn't answer their phones, my roommate literally walked out of the room with me in it to go to dinner without saying anything and all that jazz. Best part is I saw them there and fortunately didn't have to sit with them. I suppose i'll confront them about it eventually. Just need the right time... ok I'm off

Pretty average day. Woke up, went to class... talked about Greek Tragedies, went to politics, talked about politics, got out of class chilled for the afternoon did a very limited amount of work and thats about it. Nothing really special happened and I guess thats ok... Really nothing to report. I'm in the process of starting a biography for myself and think in time I might do one for the entire family. I think with everything going on these days it would be a damn shame to lose the family history so I might start asking my parents about their lives soon. It would be interesting to document everything that happened and would be great for the future generations of my family to have this resource. Other than that though, nothing's new...

Talking to the ex...
This is probably a mistake but I've recently started talking to my ex again... I don't know why but I just do it sometimes. Maybe I'm crazy, maybe I'm stupid, maybe I just haven't moved on, I don't know... It's just one of the mysteries of life i'm still trying to figure out. I mean I'm 20 years old (almost, a few more months) and trying to get everything else in order mentally. It's so fucked up though, I know I know I'm dumb but even so I'm still confused as hell.
Other than that it's been a slow day, I had a headache all day and skipped my first class... Other than that I did some stuff like chatted with people... nothing really major. Ugh so confused though! French was interesting, she was making Jokes about cocaine the whole time (I don't know where that came from but ok, kids don't do drugs!) and then basically just hung out all afternoon in my room. Might get someone to play Warhammer 40,000 with but to do that I need to jumpstart making my army... it takes so long! I literally have to paint about 50 soldiers this weekend if i'm gonna do it... needless to say I don't see it happening, oh well...
Went to a special dinner for declaring major today and ran into some old friends, that was really nice. Other than that it was a pretty slow evening. So yep, thats it for today,

Went to a special dinner for declaring major today and ran into some old friends, that was really nice. Other than that it was a pretty slow evening. So yep, thats it for today,

Uhh, I need to get back on track. Nothing much happened today, saw my Aunt and Uncle for dinner (they came and visited, it was quite nice) and other than that had one class cancelled. All in all it was a pretty awesome day but thats about it. OH SHIT. I just realized i submitted something without doublespacing it, gotta write an email right nwo to fix it. god damn it...

Hey sorry I haven't posted in a few days, still trying to get things in order... my roommate went away for the weekend and the room is a complete disaster. I have to organize it tomorrow which sucks but oh well. Right now I got this song stuck in my head which is mildly annoying but I'll figure it out when he gets back tomorrow as well. Other than that nothing new has been happening just the usual really.

Long day. wrote a paper. did work... I'm really bad at this blog thing but I've been absolutely swamped recently
I've spent the last 5 days playing catchup for work that I am behind in and yesterday I found out I nearly failed two assignments. As such I haven't been able to do much writing here and am sorry for it but I've been completely and utterly swamped. Hopefully by the time the weekend rolls around I will be caught up.
In other news I want to end my D&D campaign. I want the satisfaction of slaughtering all the PCs in a violent bloodbath but without making it obvious... or I want something interesting to happen. Oh well I'll figure it out hopefully. It's strange though how easily they can kill off entire parties but when I try and do it, it's an amazing struggle. I guess that is what happens when you face power-gamers instead of normal role-players in Dungeons and Dragons. I'll figure it out. I have to. Actually I just want to kill one character... my roommate actually. He has an insane desire to just have a free world to play something completely overpowered and without any restraints.
Any time I provide them with a challenge, he rolls his eyes and it really pisses me off. Its my first campaign though and I have made a few mistakes. I've learned from them though and with that I think I can finish up pretty well. They might kill someone and have a group of mercenaries out after them, that'd be fun. Basically what it will come down to is catching them when they are weak and striking hard. Not too hard to do, just catch them when they rest and have a party of assassins wipe them out or kill one of them. They forget, they're not the most powerful people in this world... they havent become 1/2 as powerful (as a party) as certain others. Just because there are powerful people out there doesn't mean that everyone knows it after all. *Evil Grin*

long drive today... learning how to do a Rubik's cube better... i actually solved one last night, now i need to get better at it... and learn how to do the final 3 steps. I've mastered the first three now i need the finishing ones. Also I'm busy trying to catch up on work without even looking at my midterm that's due on Wednesday. Later

Pretty dull day, didn't end up doing much, Did buy a Rubik's Cube and I must say those things are damn hard. It really is amazing how difficult they are and I still am fighting to finish it just so I can say that I have done it. I knew a kid in high school that could do them in about 5 minutes and even with his eyes shut for the last 20 or so moves... something to aim for. Other than that, didn't do much but help my mom make some food for the Easter dinner we are having tomorrow. Yes, it's Easter on Sunday but since I have to spend that entire day driving we're celebrating a day early. Should be fun. Like I said, nothing else new so thats it for today :)
Oh, I forgot to mention, woke up with a rather interesting dream about a female friend of mine, not sure just how to take it. It is a confusing situation and it's been a bad two days or so but that is just how it is at times. Can't do anything against it and as such due to her relationship status... come to think of it, every girl I know has a boyfriend, kinda strange... but I am not utterly surprised. I just kinda want a change to get back into a relationship again but it looks like I will have to wait until something works out.

Thomas' Pita Bread
Thomas' Pita Bread is amazing. It really is, there is no Pita bread that I have had that is softer and tastier than Thomas'. Ran a few errands today and got the FAFSA work done for scholarship and financial aid at my college. Kinda stinks that I had to do it but worse things have happened. Honestly it isn't that bad it is just annoying to work on for one reason or another.
Oh well, also went out and got paperwork necessary for my study abroad finished and notarized. Legal contracts aren't fun to read through but in this case there wasn't anything tricky about it. Basically it was just saying that my school is not responsible for my safety while abroad other than the usual safety measures. Pretty standard and nothing amazing about it, just needed to make it clear that if i screw up... it's my fault and I'm on my own. Other than that, nothing was a truly exceptional about the day.

Hey all, not much has happened today. Basically just went to hang out with an old friend and watch Into the Wild with him. Great movie, sad sad story. But that's life I guess. That was pretty much it for my day and as such didn't do anything else. Ex-girlfriend started to be very mean to me after texting all day and i dunno why. She keeps going back to one thing that happened in our relationship and every time she does I find myself wondering if she really has moved on.
Other than that, nothing happened today.

didn't do much today but I did manage to land a good job for this summer. Only problem I have with it is I had this job last year and with that I fell asleep sometimes. The bosses caught me and because of that they say I can have the job if i don't do it anymore. Somehow I gotta figure out how to sleep well at night before work and how not to get so bored that I become exhausted. I do manage to get a lot of work done but at the same time I also did fall asleep. bad for me...
Other than that i didn't do much today besides talk to my ex via text messages... I dunno what the hell is going on on that front but I do want to figure it out. Hopefully she understands what I mean when I say that. Also talked to some other people and may have made plans for tomorrow to go watch a movie. Into the Wild. My friend from a few years ago wanted to watch it and got a copy of it for us. I'm looking forward to seeing him. it's been a while.
Off for tonight, catch you all later.

busy day, Saint Patrick's day and with that went out to lunch for Corned Beef Sandwiches. They were delicious. Also we ran all sorts of errands and did stuff of the sorts. Uhh, actually it was a pretty slow day. Tried to figure out things with my ex from a few years ago and still not entirely sure whats going on. Ultimatley I have no clue whats going on in my own life. With that being said, I am done.

long day again, woke at noon after staying up until abour 4, then went and ran errands all afternoon. Didn't do much but got a nice pair of pants for a special dinner that will be taking place when i get back to school. other than that spent the rest of the time out trying to find a matching jacket but that didn't happen so gave up around 4:45. other than that tried to get some other stuff done today and even tried to get a girlfriend from school but unfortunately she has a boyfriend. Again this happens. Oh well, it could be worse.

Women and travel
Girls... I just don't get them. I came home for vacation and hoped everything would work itself out and as a result I actually just get stuck in a bigger conundrum. I know how I feel about this girl, I think (half the time) she's into me too... but she's also got a girlfriend. As such I can't make a move. It would be without honor to make a move... I mean, there's the fear that she actually likes this guy but I also feel that it is her being confused... I gotta sound like an asshole with this right now but I can't explain it all. Maybe I am crazy, in fact I would love to have someone just tell me that I am crazy.
Anyways, yesterday was a good day. Went to Boston and saw my brother. Whole family went out to lunch and dinner and basically just enjoyed the day as a big family again. It's been a while since that happened. Walked around Boston all afternoon and looked at all sorts of interesting things that were going on.
Day before I drove home from school. I was driving for 6 hours and dropped my room mate off at his house. All in all this was 6 hours of silence. I enjoyed it though and then got home and only got 6 hours of sleep tops.. Worse things have happened though. other than that I didn't do too much this weekends. It sounded like it was a lot more interesting and I apologize for that now. Anyways it's been a rather slow day today. Went to the mall, sent my watch off to be fixed and thats pretty much it.

my ex-girlfriend
my ex decided to talk to me.
i thought it was a friend of mine.
i was sad :(
not because my ex makes me depressed but because i wanted to talk to that friend and she wasn't the one who contacted me.
I really wish she contacted me.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA in all seriousness though, I'm really not that beat up over it. I'm just kidding, although talking to my ex is always weird but I really don't care.

Very Interesting Weekend
Sorry about not writing on Friday, didn't have much to say then but boy do I now. here's the basic rundown: Got written up Friday night, got evacuated from my dorm on Saturday and rested on Sunday.
So, friday night I got written up. That just sucks. Basically I was hanging out with people in the kitchen in my dorm and just relaxing there at like 12:30. People went out to the store to get some food and then cook it. Anyways, I was down there fore about 1/2 an hour and was just chilling with people and suddenly my roommate decided he wanted to pull a handle of Bacardi out from under a few coats. No sooner than he does this do I hear keys jingling towards us and immediately know it's security. I try to get my roommate to get the bottle out of sight and either he ignored me or was just stupid and he didn't do it. Security rounds the corner, takes our names, the alcohol and we all get written up.
Yay. That just freaking rules, thank god for stupid morons like my roommate. Best part is, I HAD NO IDEA IT WAS THERE. I got in trouble with alcohol two weekends ago and avoided security's interference so this just pisses me off. so wonderful.
Anyways, Saturday around 2:30 the entire campus and surrounding town lost power. Great. we all tried to go about business as usual but got evacuated to the library at around 5:30 because the fire alarms don't work after 3 hours without power. All my friends bailed on me and I was forced to go to the library. turns out this was a blessing in disguise as I met up with people and didn't have to deal with my friends that night. They told me to call when power came back up but I didn't feel like dealing with them. I did send them a text though so I did the right thing as far as I'm concerned.
Got back to the dorms at 11:30 and I then went and hung out with a bunch of other people rather than going back. Fun times really. Went out to a party (was nervous the whole time) and then just chilled with people until around 3:30 am. Daylight savings is really annoying. Technically it was only 2:30 but because of daylight savings it was much later. Oh well. I gotta get in touch with the people I was with and talk to them at some point. Maybe later today.
Sunday I basically relaxed after this bizarre weekend. now I got class in about an hour and a half and a packed schedule with tons of studying until a midterm on Thursday. Fortunately I have break next week! Go home Thursday night and then see my brother on Friday. I can't wait!

Dedication and stuff
Well my exam wasn't nearly as bad as I had thought it would have been.
And then French class was pretty good too.
Today was a good day but I'm worn out so I'm probably gonna crash soon. Also I'm thinking of wasting about 100 bucks tomorrow on senseless junk so I have to decide just how dedicated to that idea I am. I mean, I know I want the items I'm planning on buying but 100 bucks is a lot. Also I'm trying to figure out just how much dedication I truly have. Oh well. Maybe I'll figure it out tomorrow... that'd probably be a good thing to do.

Studying tonight
I have an exam tomorrow. I have no idea what it's on. I am mildly screwed.
In other news I think I really impressed one of my professors today because I emailed one of the authors of a text we read for today asking about something he said... He actually replied and I passed the word on to my professor. She was completely thrilled and even emailed the entire class with our correspondence. I feel pretty good as I did not even think the man would write me back. It was pretty awesome.
In my French lab today we talked about the different directions (Up, down, left, right, behind, below, etc.) and I got to listen to someone directing me through an obstacle course. The TA really seems to like having me do stuff. I don't really get it but I guess that's ok. I mean, it must look good for participation or something but really it's kinda awkward always being chosen to be the first to do something. Oh well. worse things have happened.
Anyways, sorry for the short post but I really have to go study for this exam. will write more tomorrow

Midterm Thursday
Ugh, I have a midterm on Thursday. And I didn't get back my last test in my French class. That isn't good as I currently am not expecting to do very well on it and I just want to see what my grade is and get it over with. Oh well.
Today's Tuesday and I really am tempted to go to the next town over tomorrow and buy some Warhammer 40,000 stuff. I really like collecting models and it just seems like the logical step. Heck, this way even by just collecting them I can also gain a long lasting game to play so thats a definate plus. Unfortunately it's really expensive. I can not afford it legitimately. Oh well. At least I have enough money to think about getting it and the free time to possibly make it a hobby. All my friends seem to be completely bogged down in work and I thank god don't have that problem.
I've been exhausted all day and I have no idea why. I didn't sleep well last night but I did get the "required" 8 hours of sleep so it shouldn't really matter. I think I might be getting sick as I didn't feel well for about 1/2 the day. As I said yesterday my TA for French Lab was sick with the flu last week so maybe she wasn't right when she said it had passed. I really don't want to skip courses but maybe I should sometime soon. If I'm sick then I definitely shouldn't be in class. But if I skip class, I lose participation points and can't skip later on. The dilemma I face is quite obvious.
I have to write a paper tonight, I have to do the reading for it first though. I should start that now but I won't really concentrate at all so it seems like I should just give up. Worse, I don't even feel like writing or analyzing a chapter of a book today so I really just don't want to do it. But I have no choice. I guess I should get started somewhat soon on that and at least get some ideas.
Will write tomorrow!

I've been slacking....
My apologies! It seems I haven't been updating my blog as often as i had originally figured I would. Anyways, today was an absolutely gorgeous day out. Mid 60's, sun was out and plenty of nice clear skies for the entire day. If only all days could be like this, unfortunately it's supposed to rain tomorrow and drop to the 30s I hear. Oh well, life can't always be so good. At least today was terrific.
Got up at 10 and finished up some of the stuff i had to do prior to my 12:20 class and finished up my study abroad work (checking to make sure the office had everything in order) and got lunch before rushing off to Greek Tragedies. Had a terrific class with plenty of Jokes being cracked, it's always a bonus when the professor has a good sense of humor. Sat there for an hour hearing jokes for almost the whole time. Then I went off to Politics of the Middle East. had a blast there too but in a different sense, we got to break into smaller groups and talk about three videos we watched in class about the conditions that can be found in Egypt and also got back a few grades of which i did rather well. B+'s across the board.
Got out of class and finished up some more things before going to my French lab and found out that the TA is sick so it only lasted about 1/2 as long as it should have. After this class went back to my room and hung out with some people online.
Generally had an awesome day until I had to deal with my "friends." They are racist sexist and homophobes and utterly annoying. I honestly can't stand being with them for extended periods of time. With this after dinner I just put on headphones so I don't have to listen to them rant and such. It's amazing, for years I was super pessimistic and after being optimistic for the past few months I finally see just how whiney these people are after getting ragged on for being pessimistic for years.
Oh well, if people can't deal with others being happy thats their problem and not mine and I really don't have to put up with it. Gotta get up at 9 tomorrow morning so so for two classes and then I get to be in class from 10:20-1:15. It could always be worse :) thats the motto that makes me positive. Life is pretty damn good. Really, it's amazing but all those self help things are completely true. "Believe it and it is so." For years I believed life couldn't get any worse, and just by saying "life is good a few times a day," life got good.
Catch you next time :)

Bitter Cold
It is really bloody cold today. I mean, REALLY cold. I almost got frostbite i think at one point as I was carrying my books with bare hands thus bringing low circulation to my extremities in this awful weather. I was only outside for about 5 minutes for this but my fingertips were black and they were numb to the touch as well. Yeah, not fun.
I have to turn in study abroad paperwork tomorrow. It just never seems to end, fortunately I only have one class tomorrow so getting this stuff turned in should not be a problem at all. Other than that it's been a rather quiet day.

Dreary Day
Well, today was a rather uneventful day. Had classes, went to a meeting for study abroad and other than that did not end up doing much. The meeting wasn't even that interesting as it had almost nothing to do with going abroad and was more for novices to travel. I've been around Europe a few times and as a result I did not end up learning anything new. On the plus side I did manage to get out of a French lab that I had no desire to go to. After this I cleared the snow off my car and was planning on going to Wal-mart for some various food stuffs as well as other things I need but after cleaning the snow off I realized that I could not get to the store and back before dinner so ultimately I just wasted a lot of time.
Then I relaxed for the evening. Found out I have no clue what I want out of life but didn't think on that too much, there are more pressing concerns for the moment.
Sorry for the lack luster post but it was a rather dull day. Maybe tomorrow will be more interesting.

Nader
Nader is running for president. Why will that man not learn that the Green Party or whatever he chooses to run under this year will NEVER work? After studying political parties last year you find that the system looks like this:
REPUBLICAN___________|___________DEMOCRAT_GREENS
.................................. Midpoint
With that layout, in a two party system you get the votes until the midpoint if you are one of the two major parties. If a third party comes in it inevitably takes votes from the major party that is on it's side of the line. Hence Nader is stealing votes from the Democrat party. With this being said, you are giving the opposite party from that which you want a higher chance of success. With this, he got 2.74% of the vote in 2000 (according to Wikipedia) taking 90,000 votes in Florida. Votes that can somewhat assume to go in favor of the Democratic party (somewhat in that there is a chance that some would vote for Bush rather than Gore). With this, it is purely logical to assume his actions took the needed votes from the Democrats to secure that victory.
8 years later we are still paying for this terrible mistake. We are in two wars, one of which was without doubt a blatant assault on a country that was innocent (Iraq, while under a terrible dictatorship did not send suicide bombers or possess the WMDs we accused them of having) in regards to our "War On Terror." We face more problems with Iran. In Cuba Castro is out and we won't lift our embargo. It was a disaster to elect this man to president and Nader unquestioningly did play some part in the issue.
With a mistake like this, wouldn't a sane man back down and say "even though I do not like the candidates particularly, the lesser of two evils is better?" In regards to him running, Benjamin Franklin said it best: "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

Passport Photos
So I finally got my passport photos today. So much still needs to be done before I am ready for next semester though. Heck, i still have to get through this one too. Had Greek Tragedy today and had a pretty good time talking about the Oresteia. Fortunately my professor seems to have a good sense of humor and she loves what she's doing. So we spent the hour talking about the play and about other things happening in life now. It's pretty good. Following class and lunch went out to get my passport size photos for student ID cards and all the other things I need them for. Now i just have to spend the afternoon working on Dungeons and Dragons stuff. (Yes, I am a Dungeons and Dragons player.) But it's a fun game and we're playing tonight. It should be a blast.
I am exhausted. I stayed up until 4:00 AM just talking to some of my friends about stupid stuff and didn't get much rest last night. I really need to reset my sleep cycle because it's minorly out of hand. I don't want to go to bed early though, I hate going to bed early. I am without a doubt a night person but at the same time i can't stand getting up after 12:00 unless its a weekend. I love staying up late and sleeping but I feel like a complete bum if I sleep until 2:30 or any time really in the afternoon.
Got a big party tomorrow night. that should be fun. A kid who's going on my study abroad trip with me invited me to his fraternity for a party their hosting and I can't wait to get out and do something. Other than that, no big news. Friday's my relax day and as such I really don't have to say much.

Films, study abroad and other work.
Well, After getting out of class today I had a nice discussion with a friend of mine about a film we watched last night titled "Unsettled." Quite an amazing documentary about the withdrawal of Jewish settlers in the Gaza strip. Very interesting and amazing to watch. I was there for a political science course while he being Jewish felt the need to see it. Through our discussion we talked about the United States and it's role in the whole Israel/Palestine issue and everything.
I believe that if an American citizen feels a stronger tie to another country be it Israel or Cuba or any other such country, they should live there and not try to influence everyone in America to spend more on aid to that country than we already do. With that being said, we came to an agreement about the idea and our inability to understand just how to hate someone as those who fight over this land seem to do.
Well as we finished our discussion we talked about Study Abroad and I realized I need to submit paperwork for my trip. I will be studying in Europe in the Fall '08 semester and need to get passport size photos of myself for some documents. Well, I have to go to the drug store tomorrow to get them taken. Oh well. Fortunately I am done with classes today and only have one course tomorrow. Going shouldn't be any major problem.
Thats it for now,
A.Mac.

Where to begin...
Well, as one grows older in the world I find myself needing an outlet that is reliable in that it gives me a place to rant and also a place i can use as a tool to (hopefully) increase my dependability and reliability. Hopefully having a blog will do just that. I aim to mainly write about my life and whatever is currently going on in it. Other than that, I can't promise anything. Some days will be joyous and others will be filled with sorry but hopefully I will find a balance point with this blog and maybe I will be lucky and remember to update it. Other than that welcome to another blog about a student of college.
As I have just said, I am a student at college. I am currently in my sophomore year and facing all the struggles that go with that. I have my fair share of girl problems, academic struggles, and general chaos that goes with the college years and other than the usual, I find myself concerned about a lack of a place to express views that I cannot express within my "group of friends" or with my roommate. There are certain things I don't talk about with these people because partly I don't want to deal with their oppressive views or their blatantly flawed and overly critical ideas and other times i feel it just won't be accepted. I attend a liberal arts school in New York (the state, not the city) and am fairly liberal. From there, we shall see where this blog takes us!
