I've been slacking....

My apologies! It seems I haven't been updating my blog as often as i had originally figured I would. Anyways, today was an absolutely gorgeous day out. Mid 60's, sun was out and plenty of nice clear skies for the entire day. If only all days could be like this, unfortunately it's supposed to rain tomorrow and drop to the 30s I hear. Oh well, life can't always be so good. At least today was terrific.

Got up at 10 and finished up some of the stuff i had to do prior to my 12:20 class and finished up my study abroad work (checking to make sure the office had everything in order) and got lunch before rushing off to Greek Tragedies. Had a terrific class with plenty of Jokes being cracked, it's always a bonus when the professor has a good sense of humor. Sat there for an hour hearing jokes for almost the whole time. Then I went off to Politics of the Middle East. had a blast there too but in a different sense, we got to break into smaller groups and talk about three videos we watched in class about the conditions that can be found in Egypt and also got back a few grades of which i did rather well. B+'s across the board.

Got out of class and finished up some more things before going to my French lab and found out that the TA is sick so it only lasted about 1/2 as long as it should have. After this class went back to my room and hung out with some people online.

Generally had an awesome day until I had to deal with my "friends." They are racist sexist and homophobes and utterly annoying. I honestly can't stand being with them for extended periods of time. With this after dinner I just put on headphones so I don't have to listen to them rant and such. It's amazing, for years I was super pessimistic and after being optimistic for the past few months I finally see just how whiney these people are after getting ragged on for being pessimistic for years.

Oh well, if people can't deal with others being happy thats their problem and not mine and I really don't have to put up with it. Gotta get up at 9 tomorrow morning so so for two classes and then I get to be in class from 10:20-1:15. It could always be worse :) thats the motto that makes me positive. Life is pretty damn good. Really, it's amazing but all those self help things are completely true. "Believe it and it is so." For years I believed life couldn't get any worse, and just by saying "life is good a few times a day," life got good.

Catch you next time :)
